please suggest me… how to store rice to protect against the store grain pest .??

good morning sir,

for storage of rice or other food grains few things u keep in mind:

1. storage house should be free from insects and pests, moisture free, well white washed, and all outlets must be closed.

2. before storage treat room floor with 0.3 % melathion in 3 lt/ m2 and also treat bags with 1 % melathione for 10 min and dry for 6 hr. in shade.

3.foodgraind should be well dried and put a layer of wheat straw on the floor.

4. bags should be put 50 cm. away from the wall.

5. inspect time to time for good condition and insects occurence.
