Recharging Borewell's

QuestionCategory: Irrigation, Water HarvestingRecharging Borewell's

Dear Friends, As a farmer, i wish to have a borewell dug in my farm to manage water problem. Considering the environmental changes these days, it is also very important to recharge these borewell’s with rain water (harvesting). Recharing borwell has it’s own advantages and could save costs. What’s your say?

Yes, recharging borewell and rain water harvesting are very critical need of the time. FYI, there are few states which have also started giving subsidies for rain water harvesting and have made compulsary for getting approval of construction of new building in cities. In rural areas, small ponds, lakes also can be helpful. Thanks, Team GES
